I am a surveyor who has been using Leica survey instruments for 20+ years so I am no stranger to their optics, however, it is the first time using Leica binoculars.
Their performance exceeded my expectations. My reason for purchasing the binoculars was to use them at sporting events and concerts, I enjoy hiking and sightseeing whenever I get the chance but I am not a bird watcher.
I used them at a Houston Astros baseball game last night and the image was crystal clear, the stadium roof was closed whereby the only light was artificial and the brightness of the image was fine.
The case is very nice and the compact size was perfect for carrying to the game. The 10x magnification was just right and because I was able to rest my elbows on my knees 95% of the time due to being sat down I could hold them nice and steady.
The service from Leica Spotters was spot on!! They were informative in helping me decide which model to purchase and respond to emails very quickly.
